2nd Semester Tutorial Information
Teague is pleased to continue the tutorial program this year for Semester 2. Please see the current offerings below. Students can only attend one session per Teacher and only two total sessions for this semester. An email was sent to you with the registration link please open this email and select the session you want your child to attend. Student Requirements
Attendance is capped at 15 students. The tutorial sessions are based on student need. Students who are academically low will get priority, not first come first serve basis. We do have several sessions available this semester. Students must be present every session unless an excused absence occurs. Snacks WILL be provided on Tuesdays and Thursday sessions. In order to attend tutoring, students must arrive on time prepared to learn. Students must be picked up no later than 5:30. ALL PICKUPS ARE NOW IN THE BACK OF THE SCHOOL!! Late pickups can result in dismissal from the program. To ensure that all students who want to participate in tutorial have the opportunity, students who register but do not regularly attend will be removed after three absences, unless the parent communicates with the tutorial teacher. Failure to comply with either of these expectations will result in the student being asked to leave the program.
The dates for Semester are January 23- to May . Each session is from 4:15 - 5:15. Some teachers will provide specific dates that they will hold tutoring. Not all sessions are every week. This is up to each individual teacher. Some teachers will have tutoring on all the dates given. They will contact you with the schedule or send information home. Please note, classes can change at any time. Student pickup is at the back of the school on the car ramp 5:15-5:30. There is no adult supervision after 5:30.
The tutorial registration will remain open until classes are full. Some teachers will offer additional booster courses throughout the year. Those teachers will reach out to their classes, or an email will be sent to sign up.
Sessions may be canceled if there is not sufficient student attendance or if the teacher withdrawals from the program. If this happens, parents will be notified via email by the teacher. Conversely, sessions will be closed if they reach capacity. This form will be updated if a class is closed. Students who register for a closed class will be placed on a wait list and will be notified via email if space becomes available. By signing this form, you are agreeing to allow your child to participate in our after-school tutorial program for semester 2 only.
